Hi! My name is Coyan. My husband and I have 2 kids, 8-year-old daughter and 3-year-old son. My full time job is educating our kids at home. My part-time freelance job is database application developer. I also host Usborne book parties to introduce interesting books to parents and promote literacy.

One of our goal is to cultivate a LOVE of reading into our children. We read aloud to them since they were little. It helps them to develop their language and obtain rich vocabulary.
Our son went from saying "ba-bas" for everything when he was 2 years old to now talking in full sentences. His overall language skill has improved in just one year. He loves Thomas and Friends trains and doing puzzles.
Our daughter spends time reading different genres of books everyday. The non-fiction books give her opportunity to learn about this world. The fictions unlock her imagination and creativity as we notice it from her writings. She also loves to draw, sew and make crafts.
